Who is HOPE

My name is Stephen Hope, and I am the author of I AM HOPE: Growing Up with an Addict. By day, I serve as a Golf Course Superintendent, but my most important roles are being a husband and the proud father of three amazing little girls.

I wrote I AM HOPE for those who grew up in situations like mine, for the children, families, and loved ones impacted by addiction. My hope was not only to help people who lived through it, but also to shed light on these experiences so others could better understand what addiction truly does to a family. Too often, these stories are lived quietly and alone.

Addiction has touched my family in more ways than I can count. Those experiences shaped who I am and ultimately led me to a mission larger than a book: helping to stop the cycle of addiction. I believe real change happens when awareness turns into action, and when people come together with a shared purpose.

This partnership program was created with that belief in mind. Through it, the message of I AM HOPE can reach far beyond what I could ever accomplish on my own. By working with others who want to make a difference, whether through advocacy, fundraising, or simply sharing the story, we can extend hope to people who need it most.

This is only the beginning. I am committed to continuing this work, growing this platform, and finding creative, meaningful ways to give back and help lead the fight against the cycle of addiction.
